"BRANDY" BRANDY II Kipp d´Amundsen born June 15,1994 HEIGHT: 54cm, EYES: Certified (Hurricane Děti Severu x Happy Day z Úvaláku) Not only is Brandy a wonderful dog, that fully enjoys her retirement from her super sled dog career, which she ended at age of 13 years (!), but she was one of the greatest leaders our kennel ever had, and most dependable racing dogs. Such dog deserves to be sponsored by someone special, and in this case it of course is so. The proud spnsor of Brandy is Katerina= s mom Ivana Paleckova from Cernosice, Czech Republic Brandy is Ivana's true protége, and lives her fairy tale retirement with Katerina's parents and her friend Pinny in Czech Republic. Through not only the sponsorship, she is still a very valid and proud member of the Kipp d'Amundsen Team! Thank you, mom! Brandy´s nickname is Dee-Dee (but it has nothing to do with famous Iditarod musher Dee Dee Jonrowe). She´s a smart and fast dog, but when she runs loose with her liter mate Alaska, she never wins. And boy, does she ever get mad about it! She reather preffers platiny „hide and seek“ – a game that she gets all dogs into. And she´s a „talker“ too. Brandy is the only dog (and creature overall) that cean make our „miss serious“ (Alaska) smile. These two sisters are unseparateable. Brandy is a great leader, but sometimes she gets distracted by loose little dogs we meet on the trail sometimes. She has a great ability to start hard pulling and get all the other dogs in the team „back in action“ when the team is tired. WORKING STATUS: Main string lead dog in my dad´s team. Since 2003 main string leader in my team EXHIBITIONS: Brandy has only once been to a show – as a six months old puppy.
