"KIPP"

LUSTVISIHÁK z Úvaláku
born March 15, 1993
(Des-Mar´s Sunny x Brandy ze Smečky)

Kipp is truely an amazing dog and one of the strongest personalities around our kennel. Stories of Kipp could go on and on, starting with him overcomming a deadly parvovirus and literarly saving his best buddy Tuk´s life when Tuk got sick also and was dieing.

His youth was rather dramatic, as Kipp stood against our main team and pack leader Ford, every time there was a possibility. They had several very ugly fights, but none of them really ever gave up.

The toughness Kipp showed in pack, he performed in harness, never giving up, never slowing down or loosing up a tugline.
Once, on a tough 150km race, Kipp refused to eat and got diarrha, after we were already back at the restart. He didn´t show a single sign of being tired on the trail, but this was a clear red light that he´s given all of himself for the team and trail.

Kipp comes from a very acceptional outcross combination between Brandy ze Smecky and Des-Mar´s Sunny, both representing a totaly different sphere - one being from almost a pure show line, the other from a pure racing line, based on mainly Anadyr kennels. All of the ofsrprings from this super succesful breeding, repeated three times, became remarkable sled dogs, including Kipp, his older sister Happy and younger brother Lorvin.

Kipp was, accept for the early disease when he was 3 months old, never sick and he healed incredibly fast from all (mainly fight) injuries and recovered extremly fast from any kind of performance.

Kipp retired from mushing in January 2007 at the age of nearly 14 years! He is also a testicle cancer survivor, being treated exclusively with herbal and other only natural supplements.

We are EXTREMLY PROUD of this super boy, who taught us so much about mental and physical toughness of a real sled dog!
